Coach Carroll's Safety Policy:
As part of our commitment to creating a safe online environment for children and their families, CampPete.com offers two chat options. You'll be asked to select either Safe Chat or Safe Chat MAX when you sign your child up for the first time. You'll be able to change the setting at any time.

Every word or phrase your child types is sent through our filtering system. We use
advanced filtering technology to limit profanity and personal information from being
disclosed. No filtering system is perfect, so it is important that parents remain
involved in their child’s online activities and discuss safe behavior with their
child.

We created Safe Chat MAX as an even safer way for your child to experience our online
world. Safe Chat MAX restricts what your child can say to a predefined list of questions,
statements, and greetings.

Since no filtering system is perfect, we also have designated Camp Monitors who
periodically scan logs of chats and user activities for inappropriate behavior.
Users who see inappropriate behavior are encouraged to report it to our Camp Monitors
by clicking the “Tell Us” button inside the world.
Safety Tips for Parents & Kids:
1. Never give out your real name, address, phone number, school or age.
2. Make sure your parents know your username and password. But do not give out your password to anyone else. They could use your account to get you into trouble or to give out your personal information.
3. Immediately tell your parents if someone asks for your personal information online or if anyone says or does something on the Internet that makes you uncomfortable.
4. Choose your username wisely. Do not reveal your real name, age, hobbies, location or school. And do not use any suggestive names.
